Fertilome Weed-Out Nutsedge Control (16 oz)

Weed-Out Nutsedge Control is a selective pre- and post-emergent herbicide designed for the control of broadleaf weeds, annual grasses, and sedges. It can be used on both cool-season and warm-season grasses, including Bluegrass, perennial Rye, fine & tall Fescue, Bahiagrass, Buffalo, Carpet, Centipede, Kikuyu, Zoysia, Bermuda, and St. Augustine.

This product prevents the growth of several common weeds, such as Barnyardgrass, annual Bluegrass, Carpetweed, Crabgrass, annual Foxtail, Goosegrass, Henbit, Kochia, Kyllinga, and various sedges. It also kills or suppresses Clover, Dandelion, Crabgrass, Goosegrass, Ground Ivy, Henbit, Nutsedge, Puncture weed, and Spurge.

Containing 1.36% Sulfentrazone and 2.73% Prodiamine, Weed-Out Nutsedge Control can be applied to seeded, sodded, or sprigged turf grasses that are well-established, typically after the second mowing. Applying this product to turf that is not well-established or has been weakened by stresses may result in turf injury.

The product can be applied more than once per year if needed, as long as the total amount applied does not exceed the maximum application rate listed per turf type or 8.25 fl. oz./1,000 sq. ft. per calendar year, whichever is lower. In Bermudagrass lawns, sequential application of Weed-Out Nutsedge Control may be necessary for season-long control of yellow nutsedge, with no more than 2.75 fl oz./1000 sq. ft. applied per application.

To use, simply mix the liquid concentrate weed killer with water at the suggested rate on the label and thoroughly spray the lawn. One pint of the concentrate can treat up to 5,800 square feet of lawn or turfgrass.
